Ronald Simeon Woodard was a lifelong native of Winter Park Florida, from birth to death.
He was a devoted Christian, a proud Graduate of Bethune Cookman University, a committed U.S. Marine veteran, who lived a life full of purpose, faith, and compassion. His career path was as diverse as it was impactful-spanning restaurant management, financial planning, life and benefits insurance, and estate services. Each endeavor reflected his deep commitment to helping others build secure, meaningful lives.
A man of great character and deep convictions, Ronald poured his heart into service-not only through his work but in the way he treated people. Grounded in his belief that each day should be lived with trust and grace, he embraced the words of Matthew 6:34: “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Ronald loved music and often danced, bringing joy to those around him. He had a passion for sports-especially golf-where he found both camaraderie and quiet reflection. As a skilled and beloved storyteller, his anecdotes sparked laughter, wisdom, and lasting memories.
Above all, Ronald cherished his family.
His love and devotion to his wife and life partner, Laverne Woodard, was a guiding light in his journey, and he found immeasurable joy in his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the many dear friends he considered family. Ronald’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched with his wisdom, warmth, and unwavering generosity.
He was greatly loved and will be terribly missed.
Condolences may be sent to the family Laverne Woodard, 795 Northwood Circle Winter Park, Florida 32789.
