Carol Lynn Hibbard, nee Lines, died peacefully at home with family on July 7, 2025, in Orlando, FL, at the age of 85.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Holloway (Larry), Michelle Getman (Larry), Jennifer Senft (Rob), and Angela Madrid (Adrian). Survived by her brother Rolland Edward “Dan” Lines, III, and sister Brenda Mae Roller (Scott), grandchildren Michael, Lauren, Emily, Tyler, Joshua, Abigail, Dominick, Gabriella, Natalia, Madilynn, Camellia, Sofia, and Jacob and great grandchildren Cody, Andrew, Leila, Levi, Jordan, Jameson, Olivia, and Carter.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Bresett (Rob) and her brother, Thomas Lines.

Carol was born on July 28, 1939, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Rolland Edward Lines, II, and Irma Catherine “Laido” Buskager Lines. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1957 and from Kellogg Community College as a registered nurse in 1984. Carol married Willard Franklin Hibbard, II, in 1958 at the First Congregational Chruch of Battle Creek, MI, and was happily married for 25 years.

She worked at the Veterans Administration in Battle Creek, MI, and Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, FL. She retired in 2001 as a psychiatric RN and moved to Nevada from Florida. She returned to Florida in 2021 to enjoy her favorite Sunshine State in her final years. She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, especially Disney cruises, and reading. She loved playing card games, sudoku, and spending time with all of the fur babies She was a light to all of our lives with her humor and attitude and will be dearly missed.
A celebration of life will be planned for a future date. Donations in lieu of flowers to a favorite animal charity would be her wish.
