Tracy Margaret Kristoff (née Meyer), age 59, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in Winter Garden, Florida. Born on October 17, 1965, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the cherished daughter of George and Bernadine (O’Leary) Meyer.
Tracy’s life was marked by a deep commitment to compassion, creativity, and connection. She graduated from Ladue High School and went on to attend Missouri University. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the Mennonite Seminary in Fresno, California-a path that would define her life’s work.
Throughout her career as a therapist, Tracy dedicated herself to supporting individuals and families through times of challenge and growth. She served with distinction at Tulare Youth Services and Lutheran Counseling Services before founding her own practice, Simple Pathways Counseling. In each role, she brought empathy, insight, and unwavering dedication to those she served.
Tracy’s love extended beyond her professional life into every corner of her personal world. She is survived by her devoted husband Rick; beloved daughter Emma; sister Terry; brothers Chris (Loree), Mark (Janet), and Stephen Meyer; nieces Melissa Jane Scott and Kristen Meyer; nephews Drew and Hunter Meyer; foster daughter Maria; and her treasured dog Forky and cat Tampa.
She was preceded in death by her parents George and Bernadine Meyer and stepmother Gail (née Quante).
A woman of many passions, Tracy found joy in her faith, hiking through nature’s beauty, immersing herself in music and books, and spending meaningful time with family and friends. Her joyful spirit and sense of humor were a gift to all who knew her.
Tracy was a loving, creative, and inspiring wife, mother, sister, and friend whose generous heart touched countless lives. Her legacy lives on in the many people she helped heal-and in the memories shared by those fortunate enough to know her.
May her loving, courageous, and creative spirit continue to inspire us all.
