Clermont police are trying to identify two individuals wanted in connection with the theft of over $4,000 worth of Nike clothing from a local sporting goods store.
On Thursday, August 21, at around 12:15 p.m., Clermont Police Department officers responded to the Dick’s Sporting Goods located at 4850 Collina Terrace in Clermont after receiving reports of a theft incident, according to CPD.
The police department stated that two suspects – a Black male and Black female – entered the store. Once inside, the male suspect allegedly began to fill a trash bag with various Nike clothing items while the female suspect “acted as a lookout.”
The suspects then allegedly proceeded to exit the store with the stolen merchandise, which was valued at $4,314.95, according to CPD.
