Ricarda (Yita) Rodriguez-Perez, 75, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2025 surrounded by her loved ones. Ricarda was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico to Pedro Rodriguez and Tomasa Ruiz (both deceased). She leaves behind her husband of 47 years Alberto Perez, her daughter Jasmin Melendez and her husband Peter, her daughter Cynthia Zayas and her husband Kenneth, a son, five grandchildren, Axel Jr., Alexxus, Jaslin, Jalinette, and Alexander, three great-grandchildren, Angel, Anzel, and Aryeneliz, 5 siblings and 6 that pre-deceased her, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews, and many extended family members.
She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, watching soap operas, and most of all, spending time with her family, her dog Gizmo, and her furry grand-babies whom she cherished. She will be remembered for her warmth, love, and the joy she brought to everyone around her.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and friends.
