Margaret Ann Liptak, age 83, resident of Celebration, Florida, peacefully left this world on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 5:13 pm in Orlando, Florida.
Known as Peggy to all her friends, she was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, on April 5, 1942, and was a graduate of Central High School. Soon after graduation, she met the love of her life, Bob, and they married on May 23, 1963. They made their home in Shelton, Connecticut, where they raised their three daughters until making their move to Florida to spend their golden years together.
Peggy will be remembered for her quick wit, great cooking, her lucky streaks at favorite casinos, always perfectly painted nails, and her love of family and friends.
Peggy is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert William Liptak of Celebration, Florida; two daughters, Kimberly (Liptak) Calhoun and her husband David, of Cary, North Carolina; Kari Jay (Liptak) Rattigan and her husband John, of Orlando, Florida; her seven cherished grandchildren, Kalee Calhoun, Nikki Carey, Tarrah Carey, Chloe Calhoun, JT Rattigan, Caden Calhoun and Jade Rattigan; and her brother, William Viola and his wife, Flo.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Traci Lynn (Liptak) Carey, her son in law, Mark Carey, and her brother, Nelson Viola.
