Marie Salvatore was born December 15, 1922, and died September 26, 2025, at the age of 102 years young.
Marie was born in Brooklyn, NY, and later moved to Stamford, CT, where she met her husband, Vito Anthony (Smiley) Salvatore. They raised their family on South Street. She lived on her own in Stamford, CT, until a few years ago when she moved to Orlando, FL, to live with her daughter and son-in-law.
She is survived by her two children, Arlene Richardson and her husband, John, and Anthony Salvatore and his wife, Janice. She has two granddaughters, Lora (George) and Lisa; and three grandsons, Chris, Jeremy (Emily) and Ryan. Marie was a great-grandmother to James (Emily), Adam, Alex, Lucas and Ella.
She was the surviving matriarch of the family; brothers, John and Louis Damiani; sisters, Phyllis, Rose and Beatrice (all predeceased). She was also predeceased by her great-grandson, Jake Cavaloo. Marie happily celebrated her 100th birthday among family members.
