Two 17-year-old boys were recently arrested by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office in connection with an attempted robbery and shooting that sent another teenager to the hospital.
On Monday, October 6, OCSO deputies responded to Poinciana Medical Center after a male juvenile victim arrived at the facility with gunshot wounds. The deputies spoke with the victim and determined that the shooting incident had occurred in the area of Bonnet Creek Place in Kissimmee, according to the sheriff’s office.
An investigation was launched by OCSO, which allegedly revealed that the victim was shot on October 6 when two suspects attempted to steal his THC cartridges.
In a social media post, OCSO identified the suspects in this case as Caden Zimish and Jahvon Lawrence.
Arrest warrants were obtained for Zimish and Lawrence, and they were both taken into custody and transported to the Orange County Juvenile Assessment Center on Thursday, October 16.
Zimish and Lawrence have both been charged with attempted armed robbery, and Lawrence is facing an additional charge of attempted murder.
