Orlando firefighters rushed to a local Chevron gas station early Thursday morning after a fire ignited inside its convenience store.

At around 4 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, Orlando Fire Department units responded to the Chevron gas station located at 3250 Bruton Boulevard in Orlando.

Upon arrival, firefighters observed “moderate smoke and fire” near the front door of the convenience store, according to OFD.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, and they managed to keep the flames from spreading beyond the “office/cashier” area.

A search of the convenience store revealed that it was unoccupied at the time of the fire.
There were no injuries reported.
No further details were provided by OFD regarding the cause of the fire.
