A 31-year-old Osceola County man is behind bars after photos and videos depicting the sexual abuse of children were allegedly found in his possession.

According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, a cyber tip was received from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children, which indicated that an individual had shared child sexual abuse material (CSAM) online. The cyber tip further stated that the individual in question had solicited other online users for CSAM, according to OCSO.

Detectives launched an investigation into the incident, and a search warrant was obtained for a residence located in Poinciana. On Thursday, October 23, the search warrant was executed at the home, and detectives made contact with the suspect in this case, identified as Angel Javier Hernandez.

OCSO stated that evidence, including electronic devices, were seized from Hernandez’s home during the search. While reviewing this evidence, files depicting the sexual abuse of children were allegedly discovered.

Hernandez was placed under arrest and booked into Osceola County Jail, where he is currently being held without bond. He is facing the following charges: two counts of possession of photo/video of sexual performance by a child and one count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

Back in 2020, Hernandez was arrested by OCSO detectives and charged with 10 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material.
