Travelers looking to depart from Orlando International Airport (MCO) are experiencing significant delays due to staffing shortages.
On Thursday, October 30, the average delay experienced at MCO is 161 minutes, which is nearly two hours and 45 minutes, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Airspace System Status webpage.
The ground delays, which were expected to begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, will continue until around 3 a.m. on Friday, October 31.
An advisory from the FAA states that all U.S. departures will be affected by these delays.
