Edward Meixsell passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, in Longwood, Florida. A visionary real estate developer who worked well into his 90s, Ed lived a life defined by family devotion, determination, and unwavering principles.
He is survived by his children Craig, Tracey, and Scott; nine grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren who will carry on his legacy.
Ed was preceded in death by his son Dennis in 1992 and was blessed with 66 wonderful years of marriage to his beloved wife “Jeanie,” who passed away in 2014.
His business acumen was matched only by his personal warmth. He was always present when it truly mattered, listening intently, offering thoughtful advice, and standing firmly behind his loved ones.
Ed Meixsell’s legacy lives on through his extensive family and the countless lives he touched with his generosity, work ethic, and unwavering support. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
