Amazon delivery vehicle

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation after an Amazon driver’s personal vehicle was stolen while she was making deliveries.

The vehicle theft occurred at around 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, in the 4600 block of Balboa Drive in Orange County, according to OCSO.

The Amazon driver had left her blue Kia Forte unlocked, with the keys inside the vehicle, while she delivered a package to a nearby residence.  

Shortly after the woman walked away from her Kia, two Black male juveniles wearing all-black clothing entered the vehicle and drove away in it, according to the sheriff’s office.

No further details were provided by law enforcement.
