Local authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who was allegedly involved in an armed robbery and carjacking at a café in Kissimmee.
According to the Kissimmee Police Department, a male suspect entered the Sweety Café (3153 W Vine Street in Kissimmee) at around 5:26 p.m. on January 22, 2026. Once inside the café, the suspect allegedly “approached an employee with a handgun” and “demanded money.”
After leaving the business, the suspect allegedly stole a vehicle and fled from the area prior to the arrival of law enforcement.
“No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing,” said KPD.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Kissimmee police shared two photos of the suspect in this case. At the time of the robbery and carjacking, the suspect was wearing a white shirt, black shorts, and black socks, and he was carrying a black backpack.
