The Orlando Magic announced on Wednesday that Publix is the team’s Official Supermarket.

The team’s new multiyear collaboration with Publix marks the first time that the supermarket has held that designation with a National Basketball Association (NBA) franchise.

According to the Orlando Magic, this collaboration will include interactive promotions during games at the Kia Center, signage around the arena, and social campaigns. Publix-branded food items will also be featured inside the arena and at Fan Fest.

In addition, Publix will serve as a supporting partner of Magic youth basketball camps, as well as the entitlement partner of the Magic’s Fan Fest event.

“The Orlando Magic are thrilled to welcome Publix to our partnership family,” said Magic Senior Vice President of Global Partnerships J.T. McWalters. “Publix shares our commitment to excellence and exceptional service and is a longstanding pillar of the Central Florida community. We’re excited about what this collaboration will bring to the local community – creating magic for fans both inside and outside the arena.”

Publix Media Manager Hannah Herring said that the supermarket is proud to team up with an organization that shares its commitment to serving the Central Florida area.

“We look forward to collaborating with the Magic on ways we can connect with fans and do good, together, in our community,” added Herring.

Publix is the largest employee-owned company in the United States, with more than 260,000 associates. The supermarket currently operates over 1,430 stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and Kentucky.

An NBA franchise since 1989, the Orlando Magic have found success on the court, winning eight division championships (1995, 1996, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2019, 2024, 2025) and capturing the Eastern Conference title twice (1995 and 2009).

Off the court, the Orlando Magic gives more than $2 million annually to the local community via sponsorships of events, donated tickets, autographed merchandise, and grants. The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, which serves at-risk youth, has distributed more than $30 million to local nonprofit community organizations over the last 36 years, according to the team.

The Orlando Magic play their home games at the Kia Center, which is located at 400 W Church Street in downtown Orlando.
