Susan Levina Baskauskas,74, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026. Born November 16, 1951 in High Point, North Carolina, she was the beloved daughter of O.B. Levina and Barbara Burton, and a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Susan attended the University of North Carolina, where she developed a lifelong devotion to her Tar Heels—always proudly wearing her Carolina blue. A dedicated and compassionate pharmacist in Winter Park, Florida, Susan served her community for over 45 years with warmth and care. She could hardly go through the aisles of Albertsons or Publix without running into someone she knew.
Above all else, Susan loved her family deeply. She is survived by her three children & five grandchildren who were the joy of her life: Peter Eric Baskauskas Jr (Kristen), Paige Baskauskas (Mark Amuedo) & David Baskauskas, Grandchildren: Olin Baskauskas, Wesley Baskauskas, Margaux Baskauskas, Henry “Hank” Amuedo & Avery Amuedo.
Susan is also survived by her loving siblings: Robin Levina Seabolt (Bob), Lynn Fellos, and Bill Levina (Kalie), as well as many nieces and a nephew whom she adored.
Some of Susan’s happiest moments were spent sharing her favorite places—Boone, North Carolina and New Smyrna Beach, Florida—with her five grandchildren. Being “Bunny” was one of her greatest achievements, and her family will forever cherish the memories made in mountains and by the sea.
Memorial Services for Susan Baskauskas will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 21, at First United Methodist Church in Winter Park, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Susan’s name to First United Methodist Church of Winter Park.
