The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting at a local Airbnb that claimed the life of a 17-year-old boy.
Back on Saturday, March 14, at around 1:25 a.m., OCSO deputies responded to an Airbnb located in the Veranda Palms Subdivision, off Shanti Drive, in Kissimmee. When deputies arrived, they found a male victim lying near the pool who had sustained a gunshot wound, according to the sheriff’s office.
The victim, identified as 17-year-old Orlando resident Qvarious Savion McCloud, was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
OCSO stated that at the time of the shooting, McCloud was attending a house party at the incident location with other individuals.
“Detectives are asking for anyone who was at the residence, or anyone who knows what occurred in the early morning of March 14, 2026, to contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office,” said the agency in a social media post.
Specifically, detectives are looking for video footage of the party or additional information about the people who were in attendance at the time of the shooting.
According to OCSO, detectives believe that most of the attendees were Orange County residents.
No further details were provided by the sheriff’s office.
If anyone has information that could help the ongoing investigation, OCSO asks that you call 1-800-423-TIPS (8477). In the event that your tip helps investigators, you may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000.
