A shooting at an Orlando nightclub sent three people to the hospital with life-threatening injuries early Wednesday morning.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Le Palace (5526 S Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando) at around 1:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, after receiving reports of shots being fired, according to OCSO.

The sheriff’s office stated that an adult male suspect shot two male victims who were both in their 20s. A security guard reportedly witnessed the shooting and returned fire, wounding the suspect.

Paramedics quickly arrived at the nightclub, and the suspect and two victims were transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

According to OCSO, another individual who had reportedly been in the suspect’s car was apprehended by law enforcement after leaving the scene of the shooting.

No further details were provided by OCSO as the investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
