Girolamo Calo De Candia, beloved husband, father, grandfather, restaurateur, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026. He was born on September 27, 1946, in Molfetta, Bari, Italia, where he spent his early years surrounded by family, tradition, and the rich culture of his homeland.

With determination and hope for a brighter future, Girolamo later moved to Venezuela, where he built a life grounded in hard work, love, and dedication to his family. A proud self-owner of a restaurant, he became known not only for his entrepreneurial spirit but also for his warm hospitality and passion for bringing people together through food and friendship.

Girolamo shared a loving marriage with his beloved wife, Catalina Graffe de Calo. Together, they created a strong and devoted family rooted in love, faith, and perseverance. He was admired for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those he loved. He is survived by his wife Cartalina Graffe de Calo, Sons: Luciano Calo and Geronimo Calo. Daughters: Maria Carolina Calo and Maria Angelica Calo. Brother: Geovanny Calo. Sister: Olimpia Calo. Grandchildren: Valentina Calo, Valeria Chindemi Calo, Maritza Escalona Calo, Luciano Calo, Ivanna Calo and Jimena Gariga Calo.

He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his deep pride in his Italian heritage, and the legacy of love and resilience he leaves behind. Though he is no longer with us, the memories he created and the lives he touched will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
