Gwendolyn Ruth Hackenberry, age 94, passed on June 12, 2026, and was a resident of Orlando, Florida. She was born on August 23,1931 in Orlando,Florida the youngest of 3 children Gwen, Mom, Grandma was active and enjoyed life to the fullest until a fall caused a decline in her health.
She was a devoted wife, mother, Grandmother, sister and friend. A homemaker, Gwen loved to travel, loved fishing and fished her favorite area of the river in Oak Hill for 20 years. She loved going to Disney, cooking large meals and spending time with family.
Gwen’s husband Cliff preceded her in death in 2019 and a grandson Scott in 2015. She is survived by 2 sons; Earl (Jodi); Steve (Theresa); grandchildren Philip; Jennifer(Justen); Drew; great-grandchildren Reese; Landon; Channing and Zachery.
A committal service will be held at Drawdy-Rouse Cemetery, 4050 Rouse Rd, Orlando, FL 32817, US, on June 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
