Comedian and actor Bill Bellamy is heading to Orlando this week for a four-show run.
On Friday, July 24, Bellamy will perform at the Orlando Funny Bone (9101 International Drive, Suite 2310) at 7 p.m., followed by a second show at 9:45 p.m. The comedian will then return to the venue on Saturday, July 25, for additional shows at 6:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.
A New Jersey native, Bellamy began his stand-up career while attending Rutgers University. He gained national prominence in the 1990s as a staple on MTV, where he served as a VJ and hosted several programs, including “MTV Jams” and “MTV Top 20 Countdown.”
The comedian is also known for coining the phrase “booty call” during an early stand-up appearance on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam.”
In addition to his comedy tours, Bellamy has appeared in various film and television projects over the years. His more recent credits include a recurring role on HBO’s “Insecure,” producing and starring in the BET Plus holiday film “A Rich Christmas,” and launching a podcast through a joint venture with Breakbeat Media.
Tickets for the Orlando shows range in price from $40 to $70. The venue also offers VIP tickets, which feature preferred seating close to the stage, as well as a dinner package.
The event is restricted to guests who are 21 years of age or older, and a valid ID is required for entry. The comedy club seats attendees on a first-come, first-seated basis at tables of four, and offers a full bar and dinner menu to guests in the showroom.
