A 63-year-old Apopka woman is taking home a six-figure lump sum after buying a winning Florida Lottery scratch-off ticket at a local Publix.
On July 1, 2026, Apopka resident Jean Olsen visited the Florida Lottery headquarters located in Tallahassee to claim a $1 million top prize from the $1,000,000 Cash Stacks scratch-off game, according to lottery officials.
Olsen elected to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $616,700.
The winning ticket was purchased by Olsen at the Publix located at 1545 Rock Springs Road in Apopka.
The $5 scratch-off game, $1,000,000 Cash Stacks, features more than $48 million in total cash prizes, ranging from a free ticket to the top prize of $1 million. The overall odds of hitting the $1 million jackpot are 1-in-3,547,020.
