Residents needed for final series of Orlando redistricting recommendations

City officials are encouraging residents to participate in the last set of redistricting community meetings that will reshape Orlando for the next decade.

The city has plans to host multiple other meetings in the coming week in order to collect feedback to ensure equal population among the city commission districts.

The Orlando Redistricting Advisory Board is hosting the remaining meetings across the different districts and encourages members of the public to attend the hybrid meetings in person or online to provide input on the proposed changes to the City of Orlando commission districts.

Residents can choose to attend any of the following community meetings and are not limited to their district:

Tuesday, April 12, 2022 6 p.m. – District 3 Redistricting Community Meeting College Park Neighborhood Center, 2393 Elizabeth Avenue Public Comment Registration:

Thursday, April 14, 2022 6 p.m. – District 4 Redistricting Community Meeting Beardall Senior Center, 800 South Delaney Avenue Public Comment Registration:

Tuesday, April 19, 2022 6 p.m. – District 5 Redistricting Community Meeting Callahan Neighborhood Center, 101 North Parramore Avenue Public Comment Registration:

Thursday, April 21, 2022 6 p.m. – District 6 Redistricting Community Meeting Dr. James R. Smith Neighborhood Center, 1723 Bruton Boulevard Public Comment Registration:
