Eileen Seery

Eileen was an extraordinary mother, grandmother, wife, and sister. She had an infectious zest for life and exuded positivity to the world. She got pure pleasure from telling jokes and making people laugh. She was born in Manhasset New York and met her husband of 50+ years in Port Washington New York.

She moved from New York to Florida in 1967 and she and her husband opened a pizza franchise here. Later on in life she worked for SunTrust bank and retired from there. After her husband passed, she moved in with her daughter and stayed very active with Brain Fitness Club classes, travel, eating out, playing checkers, writing poetry And coloring the most artistic designs that we all fell in love with. Her favorite past time was people. They energized her and brought her joy. She was resilient…she approached every challenge in life with strength, grace and an upbeat attitude. A true example for all of us.

Eileenā€˜s impact on our lives has already spanned several generations. She radiated pure love for each of us. We will carry her in our hearts for the rest of our lives. She is survived by her sister Julia Mulligan, her four children: Cathy, Susan, Donna and Glenn, her seven grandchildren: Michelle, Christina, William, Jennifer, Robert, Nicole, and Kevin and three niece/nephews: Tom, Brian and Carol Ann.

We will miss you forever!
