A local husband and wife have opened a second, new Sri Lankan street food concept in Orlando.
Ceylon Roti Hut celebrated its grand opening on Friday, July 1, at Á La Cart, which is located at 609 Irvington Avenue.
The new business is a creation of husband and wife Gavin and Shay Parys, who decided to open the second truck after enjoying success with their first truck, Ceylon Hut.
“We are so grateful to each and everyone of you and for your continuous support, our Orlando community is fantastic,” reads a social media post from the company.
According to the business, the menu will feature a variety of Sri Lankan staples, including Kottu, Godamba Roti and Naan served with different meats, including chicken, beef, goat, and vegetarian options.
The business joins a handful of others that all operate out of Á La Cart, which is an open, social dining experience that features a wide variety of dining options and a bar with 15 taps.
The taps feature a rotating lineup of beers, ciders, wines, and cold-brew coffee. Á La Cart is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. For more information on the featured food and drinks, visit the Á La Cart Orlando website.
