Father, son bringing three new coffee locations to Orange County

A father and son will open three new coffee locations in Orange County, including one in downtown Orlando.

Double O’s Coffee is currently working on multiple locations across Central Florida, with plans to open a total of six in Orange, Osceola, and other parts of central Florida.

Founded by father and son Kurt and Colby O’Brien, the downtown Orlando location will be situated at 106 E Colonial Drive, next door to Maki Hibachi in the first floor of the Neighborhood Storage Center.

“Giving back to the community with a coffee shop focused on speed and quality was the goal. Along the way we discovered providing the opportunity to our employees to drive their entrepreneurial spirit was just as important,” reads a quote from founder Kurt O’Brien.

The coffee shop joins a slew of others opening in the Orlando area, including Altura Coffee, which is also currently building out a location in downtown Orlando.

Last month, another downtown coffee shop, Craft and Common, was recognized by Yelp as one of the top 100 best restaurants in the state of Florida.
