The fastest-growing Nashville-style chicken restaurant in the United States has expanded its footprint into the Sunshine State with its first location in Central Florida.
Dave’s Hot Chicken celebrated the grand opening of its new location in Orlando on May 27. The new restaurant is located at 557 N. Alafaya Trail, Suite 110, in the Waterford Lakes Town Center.
The restaurant’s menu is a simple one, showcasing its signature Nashville hot chicken in one of three tender or slider combinations. Tenders can be prepared at one of seven spice levels, ranging from no spice to reaper level heat.
In addition to tenders and sliders, the restaurant features a handful of specialty sides, including macaroni and cheese, kale slaw, and cheese fries.
To compliment the hot chicken, Dave’s features three classic milkshake flavors that are made with real ice cream.
The business joins a slate of other restaurants in east Orlando that are currently under construction or recently opened.
That includes the area’s first Aussie Grill, which is a fast casual concept that serves a menu inspired by Outback Steakhouse. That restaurant is currently under construction at 12305 East Colonial Drive.
Further east on Colonial Drive, Culver’s is currently developing another fast food restaurant in east Orlando. That restaurant joins nearly a dozen other locations that have sprouted up in and around Orlando in recent years, including one currently under construction in Apopka.
Dave’s Hot Chicken is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Sunday. For more information, visit the Dave’s Hot Chicken website.
