Brunilda Rodriguez, age 84, died peacefully at her home in Altamonte Springs, on July 25, 2022 in the evening. She was born on February 24, 1938, in Aguada, Puerto Rico to Juan Ruiz Santiago and Josefina Ruiz. Mrs. Rodriguez moved to Florida in 1975 and Brunilda worked in the Longwood area as a hairdresser until 2018. In addition to her parents, Brunilda is preceded in death by her husband Carlos M. Rodriguez, brother Juan Ruiz, and brother in law Heriberto Sanchez.
She is survived by her daughters Lillian (Ismael) Cotto, Maribel (Luis M.) Padilla, and Bruni Rodriguez; grandchildren Melisa, Ismael, and Josue Cotto, Luis-Miguel, Gabriel-Carlos, Daniel-Antonio, and Karisa-Mariel Padilla; four great-grandchildren; Wesley and Rowan Rohrback, Gabriel (Gabrielito) Padilla, and Mateo Padilla. Her surviving siblings Nelly, Nerieda, Francisco and Maria J. Ruiz.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs, FL, on September 3, 2022 at 11:00 am.
