Six people were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries after a vehicle was t-boned while it was leaving a Publix parking lot in Seminole County.
The accident took place on Sunday, August 7, around 5:30 p.m. at the Publix located at 43 County Road 419 Ste 1001.
According to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol, an SUV being driven by a 54-year-old Orlando man was pulling out of the parking lot onto CR 419 near Snow Hill Road. As the SUV began turning left, it was struck by a sedan being driven by a 20-year-old Chuluota man.
After the impact, the sedan caught on fire.
The driver of the SUV, as well as a 23-year-old male passenger, were transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. A 53-year-old Orlando woman that was riding in the front passenger seat sustained critical injuries during the accident.
The driver of the sedan, as well a 16-year-old male passenger and a 22-year-old male passenger, were also transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
