Donna Bailey Saddler was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Donna passed away on August 17, 2022 at the age of 66 surrounded by her closest loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
Donna completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida where she pursued her passion for teaching. After teaching for the Deaf for a few decades, she went back to school to complete a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2009. Donna’s pride and passion revolved around enriching the Orlando Deaf community with high-quality, real-world teaching that would help propel them into the local workforce. Donna worked at Orange Technical College in Orlando, Florida for over 33 years before retiring in 2021.
Donna was loved and cherished by many. She is survived by her sons, Jason Bailey and his wife Sara; Justin Simmons and his wife Taylor; 5 grandchildren, Alexandria, Easton, Kate, Annie and Ella; and many cousins and nephews.
Services are scheduled for August 25, 2022 at 11 am at DeGusipe Funeral Home located at 9001 Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 32751.
