Donna Marie Knight

Donna Marie (Johnson) Knight of Orlando, Florida, passed away on September 13, 2022, at the age of 65. Donna was the eldest child of the late Roy and Dorothy (Cunliffe) Johnson. She was raised and educated in Weymouth, Massachusetts, graduating from Weymouth South High with the class of 1975. After graduation, Donna honorably served her country with the U.S. Marines before attending the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, where she received her bachelor’s degree. In 1998, Donna moved to Florida and married her husband, Jack, who survives her. Donna worked at Central Florida Investments for many years until her retirement in 2019.

Donna had many artistic talents. In recent years, she had found a love for making jewelry and would participate regularly in craft fairs and markets. She also had a love of animals and always had a special place for her cats and dogs. Above all else, Donna cherished the time she got to spend with her family and friends.

Donna was the loving wife of 24 years to John “Jack” Knight of Orlando. She is also survived by her son Charles “Chuck” Gross, daughter-in-law Lauren Gross, and grandsons Charlie and Owen Gross, all of Melbourne, Florida. Donna also leaves behind her siblings Mark (Sarah) Johnson of Charleston, Illinois, and Scott Johnson of Fairfax, Virginia, and was predeceased by her siblings Stephen and Kathleen.
