The Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando shared photos of the architectural design for their planned $14-million facility.
The new, 25,000 square-foot space will be located on John Young Parkway in south Orlando, and will feature a variety of enhancements and upgrades.
The organization says that it has secured more than $9 million in funding for the project and that a builder has already been selected.
The new facility will double the medical space available to the organization to care for injured animals and will include a dedicated space for adoption services.
It will also feature an air-conditioned shelter space for dogs and cats, and specialized housing for long-term dog residents.
