Geneva Drive closed in Oviedo for at least two months

A popular stretch of road in Oviedo will be closed for at least two months as crews work on repairs.

According to Oviedo officials, Geneva Drive will be closed between W. Broadway Street/County Road 419 and the roundabout. The closure will begin on Friday, November 4.

The project will focus on the realignment of Geneva Drive. Construction of the realignment is expected to last at least two months, according to officials.

Last week, officials announced the reopening of nearby Rouse Road, which was shuttered for weeks after it was severely damaged by flooding from Hurricane Ian.
