A 69-year-old man was killed after he was ejected from his motorcycle in Volusia County this weekend.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident took place on Saturday, November 26, at around 7:07 p.m. near the intersection of Reynolds Road and Sylvin Road.
The man was riding a 2011 Harley Davidson eastbound on Reynolds Road, just east of Sylvin Road.
For unknown reasons, the driver lost control on a slight curve and ran off the roadway right. As a result, the vehicle struck a fence and a tree.
The man was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
