A suspect has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in Puerto Rico in connection with the murder of a 20-year-old Orlando man earlier this month.

Luis Angel Rivera Soto was arrested in Puerto Rico by authorities and is currently awaiting extradition back to Florida. Soto is being charged with first-degree murder in the homicide of Bryan Soria Figueredo.

Figueredo was found on Sunday, December 4 by Orange County Sheriff’s Office detectives responding to the 14000 block of Osprey Links Road in reference to a shooting.

Upon arrival, police discovered Figueredo suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Soto, who turned 24 over the weekend, allegedly fled the scene before deputies arrived.
