Alice Libby, 99, of Orlando, Florida, died December 22, 2022 in Orlando, Florida following a brief illness. Prior to that, she led a full, active and independent life.
She was born on December 8 ,1923 in New York City, to Jacob and Bertha Beldegreen.
Alice graduated from Hunter College, part of the City College of NY.
She was preceded in death by Jerome Libby, whom she married on June 9, 1946, and brothers Raymond and Ernest.
She worked as a bookkeeper. and she was an avid bridge player and volunteered with the Give Kids the World organization.
Alice is survived by daughter Debra Wirth (Fred) of Massachusetts and son Joel of North Carolina, grandchildren Catherine Wirth (Matthew Liebhold), Daniel Wirth (Catharine) and Miira Gates (Brandon) and great- grandchildren Alex Wirth, Isaac Wirth, Maxwell Liebhold, Finnian Liebhold, Elias Gates and Theodore Gates. She is also survived and will be missed by other family members and numerous friends.
