An Orlando-based brewery has been chosen as the official craft beer sponsor for the city’s new XFL football team.
Ivanhoe Park Brewing has been named the XFL Orlando Guardians’ Official Craft Beer sponsor for the 2023 season, according to a press release issued on Friday, February 10.
The “Official Guardians Beer” will be unveiled during the first-ever Orlando Guardians game on Saturday, February 18, at the brewery, which is located at 1300 Alden Road. The facility will host fans as early as 6:30 p.m. at the kickoff event, which will include food trucks.
“Getting professional football back in Orlando is very exciting and we are honored to be part of it,” said Glenn Cosson, Co-Founder and CEO of Ivanhoe Park Brewing. “The leadership and management of the Orlando Guardians have been great to work with and we know our brand will be well represented. We look forward to the partnership and having our Commitment to Community continued through the efforts of the Guardians.”
As the official sponsor, the brewery’s products will be available at Camping World Stadium on game days. The Official Guardians Beer will also be available at the brewery for the duration of the season.
“Guardians fans are going to love the Official Guardians Beer and we can’t wait to unveil it with everyone at our official season-opening watch party at the brewery,” said Guardians Vice President of Business Operations Bart Kendall.
The XFL season will kick off this Saturday, with the Orlando Guardians scheduled to play in Houston starting at 8:30 p.m. The team will host its home opener on Sunday, February 26 against San Antonio beginning at 4 p.m.
