A Deltona husband and wife were arrested on Wednesday after confessing to sexually abusing two girls under the age of 10 over the course of multiple years.
Volusia County Sheriff’s office deputies arrested 29-year-old Laura L. Dietz and 29-year-old Steven Cribb on Wednesday, February 22, following an investigation into allegations that the couple sexually battered children under the age of 12.
According to VCSO, the couple, who live on Mentmore Circle in Deltona, confessed to sexually abusing two girls multiple times over several years. Both of the children were under the age of 10.
Although Dietz and Cribb were not strangers to the victims, the nature of their relationship to the children is being withheld to protect the victims’ identities.
The couple are being held without bond at the Volusia County Jail. They both face two counts of sexual battery of a child less than 12 years of age.
