MX Taco closing Milk District location after four years

A taco shop will close its only location later this month, on the fourth anniversary of its opening in the Milk District.

MX Taco, which is located at 207 N Bumby Avenue, will close on Friday, March 31, according to the company.

“As we approach our four year anniversary, our celebration will be our farewell party as well,” reads a social media post by the company.

“Please come by and grab a taco and say goodbye between now and the end of the month.”

Amidst a growing landscape of taco restaurants in downtown Orlando, MX Taco says although it will close its location, it will host random pop-up events in the future that it will announce through social media.

Downtown Orlando has seen a boom in taco restaurants in recent years. In the past year alone, Tacos My Guey, Taco Kat, and Solita Tacos and Margaritas have all opened in downtown. Birria 1983 also announced recently that it will take over the former space occupied by Graffiti Junktion on Church Street.
