Two family pets were killed after a fire broke out in a residence in south Orlando.
Orange County Fire Rescue units responded to reports of a two-story house on fire in the 5000 block of Oak Tours Drive on Friday, March 24.
Upon arrival, authorities say the second story of the home was 80% involved with flames. Firefighters determined that there were no residents in the home before putting out the blaze.

During their search, crews found a dog and a cat that were killed by the fire.
Authorities say the Fire Marshal is investigating the incident and that five adults have been displaced as a result of the fire.
