16-year-old, 2 others arrested for murder of teen in west Orlando

Three individuals, including a 16-year-old boy, have been arrested in connection with the homicide of a teenager in west Orlando late last year.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies have arrested 16-year-old Angel Luis Vega, 20-year-old Demetrius King, and 19-year-old Jaylee Palomino Ramirez in the homicide of 18-year-old Jessiah Pharrell Boyd.

Boyd was found suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle that had crashed in the 6700 block of Stardust Lane on October 20. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Vega has been charged with second degree murder, while King and Palomino have been charged with first degree felony murder, according to court records.
