Multiple crews were called to put out a fire that consumed a residence in Seminole County on Monday.
Nearly two dozen units from the Seminole County Fire Department responded to Dragonfly Run in Lake Harney Woods on Monday, May 15, after receiving reports regarding a structure on fire.

Upon arrival, crews encountered a residence that was fully involved with flames. Engine 42 was the first unit to arrive on the scene and advised that smoke and flames were visible from the road.
Crews worked to knocked down and take control of the fire in minutes.
No injuries were reported as a result of the blaze.

Late last month, Seminole County officials lifted a burn ban due to improvements in drought conditions. In the weeks leading up to the lift, several brush fires broke out across the county, including two in the Lake Harney area that covered multiple acres.
