A travel publication has ranked a local business as the best award-winning restaurant in the United States.
This week, Trips To Discover unveiled its 10 Best U.S. Award-Winning Restaurants and named Victoria & Albert’s restaurant in Orlando as its top spot.
Located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa (4401 Floridian Way), Victoria & Albert’s is a Victorian-style fine dining restaurant that specializes in New American cuisine.
The restaurant offers two tasting menus prepared by Chef de Cuisine Matthew Sowers and his team, who showcase seasonal flavors and elevated techniques through their dishes.
According to the report, the restaurant “stands atop” its competitors with a customer review score of 4.81 out of 5, which is the highest among the 64 critically acclaimed restaurants that were considered.
To create their report, the publication conducted a statistical and qualitative review sentiment analysis. The statistical analysis examined customer review counts and ratings from Google and TripAdvisor, while the qualitative review sentiment analysis focused on feelings, emotions, and nuanced points of view from customer reviews of different restaurants. Additionally, restaurants were acknowledged for appearing on Michelin, Forbes, and AAA Guides.
“The overarching sentiment for Victoria & Albert’s is overwhelmingly positive, with food quality, personalized service, and excellent past experiences being the most essential factors for culinary adventures decided to patronize this award-winning restaurant,” reads the report.
Victoria & Albert’s joins a long list of other restaurants in Orlando that have been honored by various agencies recently. Over the past year, multiple restaurants in Orlando have been recognized with a Michelin star or Bib Gourmand designation.
