The Sanford Police Department is trying to identify two individuals wanted in connection with the theft of merchandise from a local Sunglass Hut.
On June 5, the women featured in this story entered the Sunglass Hut located at 232 Towne Center Circle in Sanford.
According to employees, the two women were observed taking a pair of Versace sunglasses off a table near the front of the store. One of the women concealed the sunglasses in her skirt.
The employees confronted the females and they became verbally confrontational. As the women began leaving the store, the employees attempted to close the store’s gate. One of the women spit on the employee, striking her leg.
One woman was wearing a multi-colored dress and had long black hair in a wrap. She was carrying a black purse. The other woman was wearing a black Selena shirt, blue jean shorts, and had a nose ring, necklace, and red bag.
