Suspects in stolen vehicles wanted for attempted robbery at smoke shop

A group of four individuals traveling in stolen vehicles is wanted in connection with an attempted robbery at a local smoke shop.

The Sanford Police Department is asking the public for help to identify the four individuals featured in this story.

According to authorities, police responded to the Delta Smoke Shop located at 1810 French Avenue on June 20 in reference to an alarm going off.

Upon arrival, officers found broken glass and damage to the front of the business.

After reviewing video surveillance, police determined that four suspects wearing masks and carrying bags had attempted to break into the facility.

In surveillance video, the suspects are seen exiting two separate vehicles and breaking the glass of the business, before sounding the alarm. After the alarm is triggered, the suspects ran to the vehicles and left the scene.

According to police, the vehicles used in the incident were reported stolen.

The vehicles were later recovered in Orange and Lake counties.
