Cookie company opening 15 locations in Orlando

A company that creates new, limited edition cookie flavors every month has announced plans to open 15 locations in the Orlando area.

Cookie Plug is currently working on bringing 15 new locations to the Orlando area, according to the company’s website.

The company prides itself on offering a unique twist on cookies, describing them as “Fat, THICC, and BOMB AF.” Locations are filled with decorations inspired by graffiti and street art, and embrace hip hop culture.

Every month, the company releases a limited edition flavor in addition to its OG Chocolate Chip flavor, which is always available.

“It’s a vibe, combined with the finest cookies that you will find anywhere on the planet, that’s the Cookie Plug,” says the company on its website.

Billed as one of the fastest growing start-ups in the country, the business has already expanded to dozens of locations across the country.

Cookie Plug was founded by Erik Martinez in 2019. Since then, the company has seen a steady expansion into multiple states.

Currently, there are over three dozen Cookie Plug locations in operation across the United States. That doesn’t include dozens of other locations that are currently in the works, including five in Miami, and over two dozen in each Texas and California.

The cookie craze has taken full effect in Orlando over the past several years, with multiple locations opening up all around the tri-county area.

That includes Crumbl Cookies, which currently operates at least a dozen locations in and around Orlando. Last year, the company opened new locations in DeLand and near the Mall of Millenia.

Similar to Cookie Plug, Crumbl Cookies opened its first location in Utah in 2017 and has quickly expanded across the United States. Currently, the company operates over 300 locations across three dozen states, with three dozen in the Sunshine State alone.
