Girl receiving vaccine shot

A local organization that provides free healthcare for the uninsured in Central Florida is offering free physicals for students in Orange County.

Shepherd’s Hope will host a free, Back-To-School & Sports Physicals event on Monday, July 24, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Orange County Medical Clinic, which is located at 101 S. Westmoreland Drive in Orlando.

The event will feature free school physicals, sports physicals, vision, hearing, and ECG screenings, with dental screenings available at West Orange Health Center.

After the exam, children will receive a Florida Department of Health form DOH 3040, which meets the state requirement for enrollment in a public or private school.

Appointments are required for this event. For more information, or to make an appointment, visit the Back to School and Sports Physicals webpage.
