Silver Airways joined several other airlines that have expanded the Orlando International Airport’s service area this month with the addition of a new route to North Carolina.
On Tuesday, July 25, Silver Airways added service to the Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina. The route represents a new destination for MCO, according to airport officials.
Primarily serving Florida and the Southeast, Silver Airways is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale. Currently, it offers flights to multiple destinations in Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama.
The airline also serves multiple locations in the Bahamas and Caribbean, including Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, and St. Kitts, among others.
Silver Airways joins multiple airlines that have made similar announcements adding new services from the Orlando area this month.
Southwest Airlines expanded service to four destinations from MCO, while Avelo Airlines announced a new service to and from Central Wisconsin. Allegiant Airlines added a route to North Dakota from Orlando.
