Man wanted for cell phone theft at 7-Eleven

The Sanford Police Department is asking the public for help to identify a man wanted for stealing a cell phone from a customer at a local 7-Eleven.

According to SPD, the man pictured in this story entered the 7-Eleven at 4955 CR 46A on Thursday, July 27.

During his visit, the man made his purchase before picking up a smart phone that was left on the counter by a previous customer.

The phone case contained two credit cards, a work ID, and $40 in U.S. currency.
