Salvatore Angelo Tringali, 79 of Clermont, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023, at the Courtyards of Orlando Health & Rehab facility in Orlando, FL.
Salvatore was born on August 8th, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan. He is the son of the late Dominic Tringali and Frances (Di Maria) Tringali. Salvatore was a wonderful brother to his 3 siblings; Carmelo (Mel in Clermont, FL), Dominic (Nick in Clermont, FL) & Robert (Bob in Clinton Township, MI).
After highschool, Salvatore was drafted in the US Army. He served in Germany from 1967-1969 and was honorably discharged. Following his time in the Military, he worked for Chrysler Automotive in Detroit. In 1972, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to work in the Family Restaurant Business, including the Clock Restaurant and Primo’s Pizza. Salvatore moved to Florida in 2004 to retire and spend time with family.
Salvatore was a very hardworking man and a loving brother & uncle to many. He enjoyed the outdoors and watching westerns, military and history documentaries. Everyone who knew Salvatore would tell you he was a kind, helpful and loving soul, a friend you could always count on. He had an infectious laugh and wonderful sense of humor. He will be truly missed by all who knew & loved him.
Besides his three brothers; he is also survived by his one niece Jacqueline Tringali, five nephews Michael Tringali, Dominic Tringali, Richard Tringali, Anthony Tringali & Philip Tringali along with many loving great nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a Catholic Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church. 5125 S. Apopka Vineland Rd. Orlando, FL 32819.
On Monday, August 28, 2023, there will be a burial with Military Honors at 1:00 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery. 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513.
